Genco Shipping
The 5,000 square foot build-out for Genco Shipping was a balance of efficiency and style. Architects MKDA used the reception area to showcase the company’s impressive collection of model ships representing their global fleet. The concept required Gallin to execute a display wall of recessed shadow boxes, custom-fit precisely to each unique model, each with its own interior light. Elsewhere in the open-plan office, stone elements were milled at sharp angles with smooth surfaces to coordinate with Genco’s distinctive angular furnishings.
