Tom Varian is 5th generation Gallin; his father Mark served as president for many years. Like other family members before him, his strength lies in a combination of business acumen and creativity. His earliest experience was at another 100+ year-old company in their marketing department, and Tom put those talents to good use in his first role here as a marketing assistant. Tom now brings his considerable skills to the role of estimator, where he draws on his analytical capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, and strict attention to detail. Paired with his exceptional ability to build strong client relationships, it’s a perfect fit.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Tom’s role in a project begins at a very early stage, where he meets with clients and design professionals to develop conceptual budgets and answer any feasibility concerns. As construction documents are developed and construction proceeds, Tom fine-tunes the budget and helps ensure that all requirements are fulfilled.
