The Research Foundation of CUNY purchased the old Harold Tribune Building on West 41st Street to permanently house the headquarters of the foundation after its original location was destroyed by the fall of the World Trade Center.
In just four months, Gallin built out the 60,000 SF headquarters. The new facility includes new restrooms, lunchroom and reception area, as well as a three-floor interior stairway with a venetian plaster feature wall. Each floor is equipped with new state-of-the-art air conditioning and lighting systems, and the conference rooms are outfitted with the latest in audio/visual technology.
